A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Mississippi, with burial in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Lois Awtrey Bittle; two daughters, Cynthia Bittle Dupuy and Layla Elizabeth Bittle; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Bittle and Thelma Milstead Bittle; and three brothers, Billy, Neal and Dalton Bittle. He worked for Shell Oil Co. for 28 years and retired from Paulo Enterprises.
