Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m., Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetry. She is survived by daughters Anelie Babin LeBouef and Myrtle Babin Aucoin; sister Jeanette Hebert Breaux; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Australia Joseph Babin; parents Pierre and Ida Hebert; son Robert Vincent "R.V." Babin; brothers Andrew Hebert, Octave Hebert, Bruce Hebert, Druby Hebert and Wilbert Hebert; and sisters Hazel Eschete and Bernice Lirette. She was a wife and mother and member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She also was a life member of the Altar Society. She is survived by two daughters, Anelie Babin LeBouef and husband, Ray, and Myrtle Babin Aucoin and husband, Hartwell; one sister, Jeanette Hebert Breaux and husband, Howard; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Australia Joseph Babin; her parents, Pierre and Ida Hebert; one son, Robert Vincent "R.V." Babin; five brothers, Andrew Hebert, Octave Hebert, Bruce Hebert, Druby Hebert and Wilbert Hebert; and two sisters, Hazel Eschete and Bernice Lirette. She was a devoted wife and mother and parishioner of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a life member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to the Altar Society at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
