The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= July 15. 2005 10:42PM (NOTE: The file was listed as 16 Jul 2005 on WWW) Roger Crowe Roger "Rog" Barrett Crowe, 38, a native of Covington, former resident of Houma and current resident of Monroe, died Friday, July 1, 2005, due to ongoing problems with his heart. Memorial services were held at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe. He is survived by his parents, Roger Neil Crowe and Delores Jones Crowe of Monroe; three brothers, Brannon Crowe of Corpus Christi, Texas, Darren Crowe and wife, Gail Crowe of Forney, Texas, and Derek Crowe and wife, Angela Crowe of Monroe; one sister, Tara Young of Monroe; one sister-in-law, Renee Girault of Metairie; two nephews, Cody Crowe and Blaine Crowe; and four nieces, Landyn Young, Laurel Young, Kristen Crowe and Brooke Crowe. He was a 1984 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School and received a B.A. in English at Nicholls State University. He completed his graduate studies at ULM and received his M.A. in history. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. With a free spirit and giving nature, he loved his friends like family. Although Rog had many talents and interests, his true passion was cooking. Those who know him best, sought his brilliant advice. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Barak Shrine, 6620 Frontage Road, Monroe, La. 71202.
