Ruby Bishop

Ruby Truxillo Bishop, 66, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 7:32 a.m. 
Friday, July 22, 2005.

Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Nativity Church. Memorial service 
is at 10 a.m. at the church followed by interrment at the church mausoleum.

She is survived by sons Horace Thomas Bishop, Bobby Bishop, Billy Bishop, 
Jeffrey Bishop and Michael Bishop; daughters Kim Detillier and Mitzi Parks; 
brothers Surgeon Truxillo and Herbert Truxillo, Jr.; sister Lois Kilgore; 14 
grandchildren and three great-granchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Horace Bishop; parents Herbert Truxillo, Sr. 
and Vivian St. Pierre Truxillo and brothers Dudley Truxillo and Jerry Truxillo.

Ruby Truxillo Bishop, 66, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 7:32 a.m.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary's Nativity 
Church in Raceland. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with interment in the church mausoleum.

She is survived by five sons, Horace Thomas Bishop, Bobby Bishop, Billy Bishop, 
Jeffrey Bishop and Michael Bishop and fiancée, Kellie Bourgeois; two daughters, 
Kim Detillier and Mitzi Parks; two brothers, Surgeon Truxillo and Herbert 
Truxillo Jr.; one sister, Lois Kilgore; 14 grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Bishop; her parents, Herbert 
Truxillo Sr. and Vivian St. Pierre Truxillo; and two brothers, Dudley Truxillo 
and Jerry Truxillo.
