Stanley Schexnayder					[Photo]

Stanley Roy Schexnayder, 77, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died 
at 8:40 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Friday at First Baptist Church. Religious service will be 
at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery 
No. 2.

He is survived by three son, Glenn Schexnayder of Schriever and Steven 
Schexnayder and Kirk Schexnayder of Houma; one daughter, Denise Schexnayder 
Cheramie of Houma; and 10 grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, Clinton, Samantha and 
Matthew Schexnayder, Jennifer, Bradley and Margaret Cheramie, and Jessica and 
Katie Schexnayder.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elnora Clark Schexnayder; his parents, 
Whitney Schexnayder and Edna Mathis Schexnayder; five brothers, Whitney, George, 
Cliff, Earl and Elwood Schexnayder; and one sister, Violet Lejuene.

He was a retired sales representative of BellSouth and was a member of the 
Germaine Lodge No. 46, FA & M, 32nd degree, and BellSouth Pioneers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Baptist Children's Home, 
P.O. Box 4196, Monroe, LA 71211 (318) 343-2244.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
