Stella Broussard					[Photo]

Stella Luke Broussard, 87, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma, died at 7:15 
p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. 
Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park.

She is survived by one son, Simon P. Broussard and wife, Smokie, of Houma; three 
grandchildren, Jennifer Broussard, Mike Broussard and Brian Broussard; and four 
great-grandchildren, Jacob Broussard, John Broussard, Cade Broussard and Hana 
Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon B. Broussard; her parents, 
Julien Luke and Edna Authement Luke; one son, Darryl J. Broussard; one brother, 
Lawrence Luke; and two sisters, Eula L. Carlos and Thelma L. Porche.

She was a welder at Avondale for war effort in World War II, a beautician and a 
homemaker.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
