Velma Melancon

Velma Hebert Melancon, 86, a native of Raceland and resident of Marrero for 53 
years, died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in 
Raceland. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one brother, Loney Hebert; one sister, Ella H. Boudreaux; six 
nephews; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Melancon; her parents, Hercules J. 
and Stella Robichaux Hebert; and two brothers, Wilmer J. and Joe Hebert.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
