Visitation will be from 3 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Myra Authement Landry and husband, Lester; three sons, Timmy Authement and wife, Alice, Tommy Authement and wife, Annette, and Magnel "Tony" Authement and wife, Virginia; four brothers, David Pellegrin Sr., Usy "U.J." Pellegrin, Eugene "Skip" Pellegrin and Daniel "Butch" Pellegrin; one sister, Barbara Carlos; six grandchildren, Tricia Freeman, Prentiss "Boo" Freeman and wife, Katherine, Timmy Authe-ment Jr., Jenna Authement, Louis Authement and Emily Authement; and one great-grandchild, Asa Magnel Freeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Magnel J. Authement; her parents, Usy Pellegrin and Linda Theriot Pellegrin; and one brother, Donald Pellegrin. She was a 1944 graduate of Terrebonne High School and a 1945 graduate of Spencer Business College. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 9608, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit No. 380, Altar Society, ODACA "Original Doll Artist Council of America", a doll artist and homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice, 1340 W.
