Berlien Lagarde

Berlien Grabert Lagarde, 68, a native of Raceland, long-time resident of 
Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. John Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Joey Lagarde and wife, Tammy Ledet Lagarde, of 
Thibodaux, Frank Lagarde and wife, Darlene Brien Lagarde, of Dulac, Gary Lagarde 
and Larry Lagarde, both of Mathews; two daughters, Frances Lagarde Arceneaux and 
husband, Judge David W. Arceneaux, of Houma and Dawn Lagarde Clause and husband, 
David Clause, of Schriever; one brother, Norris J. Grabert of New Iberia; and 16 
grandchildren, Tiffany Lagarde, Brittany Lagarde, Heather Lagarde, Karen 
Lagarde. Jenny Lagarde, Leslie Lagarde, Julie Lagarde, Brent Lagarde, Katie 
Arceneaux, Matt Arceneaux, Jeff Arceneaux, Zoe Duet, Cloe Duet, Angelina 
Pellegrin, Lashanda Bergeron and Andrew Bergeron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Lagarde of Thibodaux; and 
parents, Norris J. Grabert and Vivian Truxillo Grabert, of Raceland.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Houma.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
