Cestive Dufrene

Cestive Pierre "Shoe Me" Dufrene, 86, a native of Gheens and resident of Cut 
Off, died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Emelda Adams Dufrene; three sons, Weldon, Terry and 
Tommy Dufrene; one daughter, Diane D. Loupe; two sisters, Melodia D. Dufrene and 
Angela D. Hebert; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemille and Sophie Rivet Dufrene; 
three brothers, Whitney, Louis and Evans Dufrene; and one sister, Lucille D. 
Hebert.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
