Doris Ledet						[Photo]

Doris Marie Ledet, 81, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
at 2:52 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel and 
from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will 
be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum.

She is survived by three sons, Leland Ledet Jr. and wife, Diana, Dane Ledet and 
wife, Louise, and Keith Ledet; three daughters, Wanda Gaidry and husband, 
Wilson, Lisa Ledet and significant other, Sandra Waalk, and Melinda Ledet; one 
brother, Tesmun Prestenbach Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Joseph Ledet Sr.; her parents, 
Tesmun Prestenbach Sr. and Eva LeBouef Prestenbach; one daughter-in-law, Kathy 
Bourg Ledet; and two brothers, Floyd and Earl Prestenbach.

She was a seamstress, childcare provider and secretary for the local carpenters 
union and a member of the Catholic Daughters Association for 42 years. She was a 
eucharistic minister for St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

She will be deeply missed by many who love her.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
