The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 17. 2005 10:41AM Herbert Allemand [Photo] Herbert Joseph Allemand, 75, a native of Lockport and resident of Houma, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with interment in St. Francis de Sales Mausoleum No. 2. He is survived by one son, Timothy Allemand; four brothers, Euma, Norman, Edwin and Ray Allemand; one sister, Noelie Charpentier; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Lee Daigle Allemand; his parents, Anidas Allemand Sr. and Valerie Le Blanc Allemand; three brothers, Roland Allemand Sr., Anidas Allemand Jr. and Norris Allemand; and two sisters, Lilly Cunningham and Lorraine Bousegard. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
