The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 19. 2005 2:23PM Isaac Allridge Sr. [Photo] Isaac "Pap" Allridge Sr., 81, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gibson, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2005. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Harding Allridge; five sons, Isaiah, Isaac II, Benson, and Isaac Allridge Jr., all of Gibson, and Henry Allridge of Tallahassee, Fla.; six daughters, Cindy Allridge of Gibson, Sarah Allridge of Chicago, and Betty S. Carvin, Clara S. Perkins, Shelia S. Hanzy and Debra S. Owens, all of Gibson; one brother, Roy Watson of Gibson; one sister, Elvie Mcguire of Gibson; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora Gates Watson and Arthur Allridge; two daughters, Rosa Lee Coleman and Vera S. Moore; four brothers, James, Lloyd, and Junius Watson and Ephion Allridge; and three sisters, Leona A. Jackson, Glayds B. Sims and Dorothy W. Thomas. He was Baptist and a self-employed farmer. He enjoyed hunting and belonged to the Bayou Black Sportsman Hunting Club.
