Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Community Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at First Corinthian Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Harry Lonzo Bonvillian Sr.; her mother, Victoria Matthews Brown; three sons, Harry L. Bonvillian Jr. and wife, Charmaine, of Houma, Gregory G. Bonvillian and wife, Jocelyn, of Baton Rouge and Corey C. Bonvillian of New Iberia; four daughters, Angela B. Lawson and husband, Wayne, of Baton Rouge, Sherita L. Bonvillian, Tammy B. Carvin and husband, Rodney, and Andrea B. Lawson and husband, Edward, all of Houma; two brothers, Anthony Brown and wife, Augustine, of Sorrento, and Terry Brown of Houma; four sisters, Beverly B. Bonvillian and husband, Paul, Rose Smith and husband, Martin, Patricia Payne and husband, Frederick, and Lannie Ostean and husband, Tyrone, all of Houma; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Brown Sr.; two brothers, Willis Brown Jr. and Charles Brown; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was a food-service technician for 26 years with Terrebonne Parish School Board and a member of Pleasantview Missionary Baptist Church.
