Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Olney Bergeron Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olney Bergeron Sr. and Marie Ordoyne Bergeron; and two brothers, Alberic Bergeron and Thomas Bergeron. He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran for 24-and-a-half years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Driver and Mechanic Badge, Safe Driver Badge, Army Service Ribbon, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and Good Conduct Medal. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
