Karen Rester						[Photo]

Karen McClain Rester, 55, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 
1:58 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in 
St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 in New Orleans.

She is survived by her companion, Michael King; one son, Robert Rester; one 
daughter, Darlene Rester Wheeler; two sisters, Patricia Haas and Gail McClain; 
and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanne Pecot McClain; and one 
sister, Carol Marie McClain.

She was Catholic.
