Lawrence Cotton					[Photo]

Lawrence Cotton, 75, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 
Aug. 16, 2005.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, 
with burial in Grand Caillou Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Verdin Cotton; five sons, Lawrence, Dennis, 
Larry and wife, Louella, David and wife, Phyllis, and Daniel Cotton; four 
daughters, Dianna Cotton, Patricia Cotton, Virginia Billiot and husband, Junius, 
and Jean Graham and husband, Richard; two brothers, Delvin and Easton Cotton; 
three sisters, Lydia Poincot, Florence Crochet and Elvina Matherne; 16 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lovenia Lodrigue Cotton; one 
grandson, Paul Junius Pierre Jr.; and one brother, Sidney Rodrigue.
