Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at the church with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Iona LeBlanc Voisin of Dulac; two sons, Gordon Voisin and wife, Lillian, of Houma and David Voisin and wife, Karen, of Luling; four daughters, Deanie Giroir and husband, Berkley, Eva Duplantis and husband, Galen, Ramona Leicher and husband, Craig, and Kim Luke and husband, Terry Jr., all of Dulac; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney Voisin and Lydia Luke Voisin; one son, Simon Paul Voisin; one daughter, Jane Ellen Voisin Theriot; one great- granddaughter, Christy Giroir; three brothers, Russell Voisin, Morris "Black" Voisin and Linzy "Nonk Dodd" Hebert; and two sisters, Malvina "Kek-Kek" Lirette and Gloria Guidry. He was a boat captain with Arthur Levy Boat Company, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 4752 and a Third Degree lifetime member of Dulac Knights of Columbus Council No. 7722. Linest was a very special person, dearly loved by all who knew him and he will be missed so very much. Rest in peace, Big L. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Chuch.
