The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= August 05. 2005 2:30PM Louis Dugas Sr. Louis "T-Lay" Albert Dugas Sr., 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Doris Thibodaux Dugas; one son, Louis Dugas Jr.; one daughter, Linda D. Landry; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Agatha Lucile Price Dugas; two daughters, Judy and Jackie Dugas; three brothers, Edward, Hubert and Paul Dugas; one halfbrother, Horace Zeringue; and two half-sisters, Gertie Folse and Lillian Z. Thibodaux. He was a retired employee of Magnolia Liquor Company and a World War II veteran. He was a member of Home, Hook and Ladder Fire Company, VFW and American Legion and 40/8.
