Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Ledet Kramer of Bourg; five sons, Allen Kramer and wife, Pearly, Nelson Kramer Jr. and wife, Mona, Robert Kramer and wife, Stephanie, of Houma, Dwight Kramer and wife, Ethel, and Whitney "Butch" Kramer and wife, Becky, of Bourg; two daughters, Peggy K. Dupre and husband, Teddy Sr., of Schriever and Tina K. LaCaze and husband, James Jr., of Gray; two brothers, Theodore "T.J." Kramer of Coteau and Whitney Kramer Jr. of Wesson, Miss.; six sisters, Joy Kramer of Houma, Merline Gemelli, Evelyn Callender of Wesson, Carolyn Lirette and husband, Kirby, of Houma, Pamela Quick and husband, Roy, of Montegut and Cynthia Rogers and husband, Albert, of Tylertown, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four step- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney J. Kramer Sr. and Louvinia Hebert Kramer; and one brother-in-law, Bernard Gemelli Sr. He worked for the Houma City Police Department for seven years, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office for six years and Terrebonne Parish School Board, where he retired after 18 years of service. He was a juvenile officer and investigator. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
