Norman Newton Jr.

Norman Newton Jr., 55, a native of New Orleans and resident of Terrebonne 
Parish, died at 6:42 .m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Community Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the funeral home, with burial in First Baptist Church Cemetery in Schriever.

He is survived by his wife, Constancenella S. Newton; one stepson, Todd C. 
Coleman; one daughter, Chameara K. Newton; four brothers, Alvin Newton, Ranney 
Davis Jr., Michael Newton and Terry Barrio; five sister, Wanda N Barbarin, 
Debbie N. Robertson, Gloria Smith of Houma, Joann N. Condoll and Gail Cannon of 
New Orleans; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Sr. and Deborah Cannon Newton; 
one daughter, Nicole S. Newton; and one sister, Myra Newton.

He was a former sandblaster/painter and was Baptist.
