Boudreaux, 54, a native of Thibodaux, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005. Obituary will be in Wednesday's edition of The Courier. August 03. 2005 12:21PM Robert Boudreaux Boudreaux Zoom Robert "Bobby" Hector Boudreaux, 54, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Bayou Blue, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2005. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Faith "Chickie" Hebert Boudreaux of Bayou Blue; his mother, Edga Mae Ledet Boudreaux of Thibodaux; two sons, Robert "Robbie" Boudreaux and Bruce Boudreaux and fiancee', Allison Coffman; one daughter, Christi Boudreaux Godwin and husband, Robert; two brothers, Merl Boudreaux Jr. and wife, Mona, and Brian Boudreaux and wife, Kim; three sisters, Jody Bourgeois and husband, Joseph "Joe", Denise Naquin and husband, Leo, and Debbie Boudreaux; two grandchildren, Kaydee Godwin and Hunter Coffman; and his mother-in-law, Doris "DeDe" Hebert. He was preceded in death by his father, Merl Boudreaux Sr.; his grandparents, Hector and Mary Boudreaux and Edward and Anna Ledet; and his father-in-law, Bruce P. Hebert. He was a retired operator with Schlumberger Well Service in 2000. He was a loving husband, father and paw-paw. He loved woodworking, enjoyed his retirement and playing with his two grandchildren.
