Rosa Fernandez						[Photo]

Rosa Fernandez, 90, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and resident of Houma, died 
at 6:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Friday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday 
at the chapel.

She is survived by one son, Emiliano Fernandez; two daughters; Olga Rios and 
husband, Salvador, and Elsa Martinez and husband, Enrique; one brother, Ricardo 
Chapa; three sisters, Lydia Chapa, Josefina Cisneros and Amelia Chapa; 11 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnoldo Fernandez; her parents, Ismael 
and Carolina Cisneros Chapa; two sons, Francisco and Ismael Fernandez; three 
brothers, Augusto, Roberto and Ciro Chapa; and one sister, Thomasa Saenc.
