Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue and 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by three sons, Edley Babin Daigle Jr. and wife, Carolyn; Lloyd Fatchett Daigle and wife, Cynthia, all of Bayou Blue and David Landry Daigle and wife, Ruth of Kenner; one daughter, Kathy Gautreaux and husband, Roy of Houma; one son-in-law, Douglas Campbell of Metairie; two brothers, Richard Savoie and wife, Stella of Bayou Blue; Paul Carroll Savoie and wife, Elizabeth of Springfield, Va.; five sisters, Norma Falgout and husband, Linus of Westwego; Iris Brien and husband, Ivy, Claire Marcel and husband, Forrest; Erna LeBauve and husband, Dennison, and Ellen Rogers and husband, Clement, all of Bayou Blue; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edley Joseph Daigle Sr.; her parents, Edward Danoudet Savoie and Lucille Severine Babin Savoie; one daughter, Evelyn Daigle Campbell; and two brothers, Phillip Edward Savoie and Murry George Savoie. She was the founder, past member and officer of the Bayou Blue Home Demonstration Club and a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church Altar Society. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She taught Catechism for many years, belonged to Bayou Blue Recreation District and was a diligent fair worker for recreation and the church. She was a gracious lady to all who knew here. Her passing is greatly mourned by her family. Samart Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
