Theresa Lipman

Theresa Jeannette Landry Lipman, 90, a native of Morse, former resident of 
Endicott, N.Y., and New Orleans and resident of Houma for the past 20 years, 
died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church.  Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lou Verne Landry; three nephews; Dr. 
Edmund C. Landry, Dr. John R. Landry and Dr. Michael T. Landry; one niece, 
Martha Cazaubon; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. Landry and Marie Zora Weiss 
Landry; and one brother, Dr. Edmund C. Landry, Sr.

She was a retired nurse anesthetist.

She was a graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing and was employed by Mercy and 
the Veterans Administration Hospitals in New Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Holy Rosary Emergency 
Relief Fund, 8594 Main St., Houma, LA 70363.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
