Wilma Sassoni

Wilma Marie Naquin Sassoni, 78, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and resident of 
Golden Meadow, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off and 
from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church 
in Golden Meadow.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in 
Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Linton Sassoni Jr., Vincent Sassoni and Kenneth 
Sassoni and wife, Linda Redden Sassoni; two daughters, Linda M. Sassoni and 
Gloria Kiger; and seven grandchildren, Garrison Kiger, Romana Deogracias and 
husband, Mekie, Valentina Gaudet, Raymond Gaudet, Jr and wife, April Gaudet, 
Erica Burns and son, Danny, and Wendy and Donna Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linton Sassoni Sr.; her parents, 
Lawrence and Louise Naquin; one daughter, Cynthia Sassoni; three brothers, 
Wilson, Lynus and Evans Naquin; and three sisters, Essie, Josephine and Shirley.

She was a loving mother, wife and friend and a great cook.

She was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
