Trahan Sr., 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, died at 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Trahan; three sons, Allen ?T-Neg? Trahan Jr., Darryl Trahan and Chris A. Trahan; two stepsons, Danny T. Ledet and Lynn A. Ledet; three daughters, Carolyn T. Lirette, Darlene T. Hayes and Robin T. Parfait; one brother, James A. Trahan; 111 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James ?Jim? and Vince Smith Trahan; and one sister, Allie Trahan Jones.
