Curtis Lyons						[Photo]

Curtis Lyons, 79, a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans, died Wednesday, 
Sept. 7, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Hollywood Road Church 
of Christ. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Lawrence Lyons and wife, Vernice, and Curtis J. 
Lyons, all of New Orleans; three daughters, Rosie L. Coleman and husband, 
Sterling Sr., Pamela L. Green and Kathy L. Vaughn and husband, James E., all of 
New Orleans; one brother, Frank Lyons of Oakland, Calif.; four sisters, 
Symentrus Lee, Bessie Johnson, Marietta Simpson and husband, George, of Oakland, 
and Geraldine Lagarde and husband, Purnell, of Houma; 12 grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Augustine Lyons; his parents, Baptiste and 
Sophie Lyons Washington; and one brother, Andrew Lyons.

He was a member of Louisa Street Church of Christ.
