Earl Gaudet Sr.

Earl P. Gaudet Sr., 80, a native of Hahnville and resident of Luling, died at 
2:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Family 
Catholic Church in Luling. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with 
burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

He is survived by two sons, Pete Gaudet and wife, Sylvia, and Steve Gaudet and 
wife, Lynn; two daughters, Toni Benoit and husband, Bobby, and Christina Ocmand, 
and husband, Kirk; three sisters, Margaret Conklin, Laura White and Rita Vial; 
10 grandchildren, Craig Benoit and wife, Sheila, Mark Benoit and wife, Karin, 
Lisa Dufrene and husband, Ryan, Angela Scott and husband, Mark, Stacy Gaudet, 
Steven Gaudet and wife, Paige, Nathan Gaudet, Jesse Gaudet, Kelsi Ocmand and 
Brandon Ocmand; and eight great-grandchildren, Trevor, Kenleigh and Adelaide 
Benoit, Austin and Brady Dufrene, Corey and Sidney Scott and Ian Gaudet.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette "Toni" Lagattuta Gaudet; his 
parents, Philip Gaudet Sr. and Laura Babin Gaudet; one brother, Philip Gaudet 
Jr.; and one sister, Marie Gaudet.

He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a veteran of World 
War II.
