The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= September 20. 2005 12:31PM Edgar Boudloche [Photo] Edgar "Doc" Joseph Boudloche, 87, a native of Bayou Cane and resident of Houma, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Darcey Boudloche of Houma; one son, Lonnie Boudloche and wife, Mary, of Houma; two daughters, Jean Breaux and husband, Harold, and Sylvia Boudreaux and husband, Nathan, of Houma; one stepson, Terry Darcey and wife, Donna, of Houma; eight grandchildren, Lori Boudreaux, Deana Breaux, Cristi Bienvenue, Kacey Peace, Ami Babin, Harold Breaux Jr., Mark Breaux and Joey Breaux; one step-grandchild, Christina Darcey; and five great- grandchildren, Kandice Boudreaux, Kent Boudreaux, Samantha Peace, Joslyn Babin and Brenan Babin. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Notesia Boudloche; his parents, Marcel and Josephine Matherne Boudloche; three brothers, Ezyra, Godfrey and Aloysius Boudloche; and three sisters, Josephine Moore, Nora More and Angolia Bourg. He was a truck driver for Patterson and Duplantis Trucklines and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He loved to dance, sing and play his guitar and harmonica.
