Felician Dion, Sr.

Felician Eloi Dion Sr., 65, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Houma, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue. 
Religious services will be 9 a.m. Monday at New Hope World Outreach Center with 
burial at Christian Fellowship Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Solet Authement; one son, Felician Dion Jr. and 
wife, Barbara; two daughters, Rebecca Landry and husband, Joey, and Etta Dupre 
and husband, Reynold; three sisters, Marie LaGendre, Marjorie Pamplin and Rita 
Brown; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Joseph and Marie Louisa Gregoire 
Dion; and one brother, Albert Dion.

He was a Christian and member of New Hope World Outreach Church.

He enjoyed driving his car and bingo.
