The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= September 27. 2005 3:55PM Ferrell Walker Ferrell Lee Walker, 82, a native of Haynesville and resident of Bogue Chitto, Miss., died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson Grove Church of Christ in Brookhaven, Miss. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one son, Wayne Walker of Brookhaven; two daughters, Joyce Trahan Alessi of Houma and Brenda Halvorsen of Santa Fe, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Smith Walker; his parents, Adolph Walker and Elma Robinson Walker; two brothers, Sherman Adkins and Sherrell Walker; and one sister, Faye Morgan. He was a retired electrician for Exxon Pipeline and a World War II veteran. He was a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ and served as a Deacon.
