Henrietta Brooks					[Photo]

Henrietta V. Brooks, 84, a native of Honduras and a resident of Gretna, died 
Friday, Sept. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Community Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with 
burial in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Andy M. Wright Jr. and wife, Patsy, of Sherwood, 
Ark.; one daughter, Helen W. Brown and husband, Charles, of Gretna; one brother, 
Peter Brooks of Roatan, Honduras; five grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Wright Sr.; her parents, John 
Brooks and Ala Nelson; two brothers, Jenning Brooks and Watson Brooks; and one 
sister, Nola Phelps.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church. She was a 
member of the New Orleans Prayer Band.
