Henry Johansen

Henry Johansen, 83, a native of Khristiansun, Norway, and a resident of New 
Orleans, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005.

There will be no funeral services.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice O. Johansen; two sons, Alvin Johansen, and 
Verness Johansen; three daughters, Paula Johansen-Riley, Nancy McIbbin and 
Claudia Aragao; one sister, Alphild Kastl; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Otilia Johansen; and one 
brother, Richard Rosvoll.

He was a U.S. Merchant Marine of World War II and retired after 32 years with 
Port Angent S.U.P.

He was a Mason and was Lutheran.
