Herd Bartley						[Photo]

Herd Joseph Bartley, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Friday, Sept. 
9, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist 
Church. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Erin Goudy of Thibodaux; one sister, Gustavia 
Vergin of Thibodaux; and two brothers, Leroy Joseph Bartley and Warren Charles 
Bartley of Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Heard Charles Bartley; one 
brother, Mark Charles Bartley; and his grandparents, Louisa and Charles Bartley 
and Louvenia Triggs and Lawrence Allen.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was Baptist.
