Joe Umberger

Joe E. Umberger, 13, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, 
Sept. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at the chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Effie Duplantis Umberger; his grand 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry (June) Hendon and Arthur Duplantis, all of Houma and 
two brothers, Ryan and Corey Duplantis of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe M. and Vivian Umberger.

He was an eighth-grader at Oaklawn Junior High School.
