Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by two sons, Dan Bellanger and wife, Carroll, of St. Louis, and Bob Bellanger and wife, Jackie, of Picayune, Miss.; two daughters, Kathy Gunn and husband, Larry, of Biloxi, Miss., and Chris Breaux and husband, Timmy, of Houma; one brother, Luke Bellanger of Golden Meadow; one sister, Irene Bourg of Montegut; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Berberich Bellanger; his parents, Arnold Belanger and Cecil Boudreaux Belanger; one son, David Bellanger; one daughter, Pam Bellanger; and one sister, Aramay Belanger. He was a retired boat captain and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Terrebonne Council on Aging, 995 W. Tunnel Blvd., Houma, LA 70360, or Hospice of South Louisiana, 723 Point St., Suite B, Houma, LA 70360. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
