Josie Savoy

Josie Ceravola Savoy, 73, a native of Kenner and a resident of Boutte, died 
Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Anthony Catholic 
Church in Luling. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Savoy; three daughters, Cynthia Peterson and 
husband, Robert, Vickey Schmill and husband, Russell, and Carla Savoy; one 
sister, Sarah Quarles; 10 children and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosalie Abbott Ceravola; 
three sisters, Sadie Fertitta, Nora Pelitire and Gloria Cervola; six brothers, 
Salvador, Bernard, John, Vincent, Nick and Peter Ceravola; and a daughter, 
Cheryl Cadiere.
