Lance Marcel

Lance Louis ?Bay? Marcel, 80, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, died at 2:30 
a.m. Wednesday Aug. 31, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Louis Catholic 
Church.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with interment in the 
church mausoleum.

He is survived by his wife, Helen J. Hebert Marcel; two sons, Michael Marcel and 
wife, Esther, and Russell John Marcel; one daughter, Linda Degruise and husband, 
Fulton; two sisters, Lucy Cunningham and Agatha Roger; seven grandchildren; and 
eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Angele Thibodaux Marcel; 
three brothers, Dewey, Norris and Ernest Marcel; and two sisters, Lillian 
Blanchard and Eula Stevens.

He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
