Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Althea Jolet Duet of Houma; two brothers, Paul Duet of Houma and Collins Duet of Belle Chasse; three sisters, Eleanor D. Savoie, Rita D. Adams and Phyllis D. King of Houma; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson Duet and Azile Eymard Duet; one brother, Steven Duet; and one sister, Malvina D. Theriot. He was co-owner of Standard Tile and Ready Mix. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Annunziata Catholic Church.
