Mable Santiny

Mable L. Santiny, 77, a native of Crown Point and a resident of Grand Isle, died 
at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Isle Cemetery at 
Grand Isle.

She is survived by two sons, Clifford Santiny and Chris Santiny; three brothers, 
Joseph LaFont III, Ernest LaFont and Clifford LaFont, four grandchildren; and 
five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Santiny Sr.; her parents, 
Joseph and Selina Crosby LeFont; two daughters, Veronica Ouates and Linda 
Santiny; two brothers, Jerry LaFont and Kilben LaFont; and three sisters, Lorita 
Stanick, Agnetha Soderstrum and Cleo LaFont.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church.

She enjoyed reading.
