Mary Richard

Mary Alice Junot Richard, 72, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, 
Sept. 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by five sons, David G. Richard, Mark J. Richard, Rene' A. 
Richard, Michael D. Richard and Shawn J. Richard; two daughters, Monique R. Omer 
and Maria R. Benoit; one brother, Charles P. "Chuck" Junot; one sister, Bettie 
J. Weber; five daughters-in-law, Suzi Leese Richard, Jackie Hymel Richard, 
Stephanie Rodrigue Richard, Lisa Richard Richard and Daisy Vining Richard; one 
son-in-law, Troy D. Benoit; and 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Marcelle Richard; her parents, 
Philip Earl and Clothilde Mire Junot; and two brothers, Philip W. "Buster" Junot 
and Gerard K. "Jerry" Junot.

She was a homemaker, a former board member of St. Joseph Catholic Elementary, a 
former officer of the E.D. White Catholic High Mother's Club and former officer 
of Entre' Nous.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to E.D. White Catholic High, 
St. Genevieve Elementary or St. Joseph Elementary schools.
