Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. He is survived by his wife, Norene Rose Braud of Houma; one son, Mehl Paul Braud and wife, Racheal, of Lake Arthur; one daughter, Lisa B. Arcement of Houma; five brothers, Larry Braud and wife, Philomena, Richard Braud and wife, Brenda, E.J. Braud and wife, Maxine, Donnie Braud and wife, Julie, of Houma, and Bert Braud and wife, Mona, of Baton Rouge; one sister, Judy B. Callais and husband, Donald, of Houma; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Joseph Braud and Julia Bergeron Braud; and his grandparents, Edward and Nellie Boudreaux Braud and Wilfred and Alice Hebert Bergeron. He was the manager of Coburns Supply for 45 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Jaycees of Houma and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
