Visitation will be 3 p.m. to funeral time today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Mass will be at 5 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by six sons, Lloyd Duplantis Jr. and wife, Faie, Eric Duplantis and wife, Linda, Anthony Duplantis and wife, Rochelle, Peter Duplantis and wife, Shelley, Patrick Duplantis and wife, Melinda, and Elias Duplantis and companion, Christy; three daughters, Angela D. Taylor and husband, Buster, Denise Nubani and husband, Mazen, and Alida Cochran and husband, Eddie; one brother, Odis Lecompte; two sisters, Leah Use' and Mariam Naquin; 34 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Duplantis Sr.; her parents, Roosevelt Sr. and Celeste Bergeron Lecompte; and two brothers, Roosevelt J. "Buddie" Lecompte Jr. and Jacob Lecompte Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Terrebonne Homemakers "Dames de Chauvin" and St. Joseph choir. She was Catholic.
