Richard Reysack Jr.

Richard George Reysack Jr., 80, a native of Applington, Iowa, and resident of 
Arabi, died. No official date and time of death has been established.

A memorial service will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Raceland.

He is survived by one son, Richard G. Reysack III; one daughter, Jody R. 
Davenport; one stepdaughter, Jackie Joiner; eight grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Lou Cox Reysack; his second 
wife, Jean Elsie Armstrong Reysack; his parents, Richard and Rosalie Labin 
Reysack; one daughter, Donna Argrave; two brothers, Manual and Joseph Reysack; 
and two sisters, Grace Limings and Dorothy Hommersand.

He was retired and was a U.S. World War II veteran.
