Rita Pennison						[Photo]

Rita Mae Hebert Pennison, 89, a native of Gibson and resident of Houma, died at 
9:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Mon-day at Chau-vin Funeral Home. 
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. 
Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Pennison of Bayou Blue; four 
grandchildren, Dirk and Brad Bergeron and Aaron and Vaughn Gaubert; and one 
great-grandchild, Wyatt Bergeron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius B. Pennison; her parents, 
Placide Hebert and Louise Clement Hebert; three brothers, Stanley, Corbett and 
Jessie "Jack" Hebert; and two sisters, Mae Hebert Albares and Telicia Hebert 
Stritzinger.

She was a homemaker and a retired sales clerk with Wal-Mart. She was a 
parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
