Rose Ward

Rose Mary Briggs Ward, 67, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at New Rising Sun 
Baptist Church.  Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Percy Ward of Houma; one brother, Charles Briggs 
of Dorchester, Mass.; and two sisters, Deborah Duckworth and Shirley Alexander, 
both of Los Angeles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Olivia Briggs; and one 
brother, Lloyd Johnson.

She was an usher and a member of New Rising Sun Baptist Church.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
