Sheila Sampey						[Photo]

Sheila Toups Sampey, 60, a native and resident of Gheens, died at 7:30 a.m. 
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Thursday to funeral time Friday at St. Anthony 
Catholic Church in Gheens. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Norris Sampey Jr.; four daughters, Lisa 
Plaisance and husband, Joey Plaisance Sr., Bonnie Dominique and husband, Lonnie 
Dominique, Angela Sampey and husband, Corey Dufrene, and Callie Sampey and 
husband, Terry Cheramie; 11 brothers, Donovan, Cleary, Tommy, Kearney, twin 
brother Dale, Lindel, Dean, Reed, Randy, Sandy and Lane Toups; four sisters, 
Dolores Foreman, Brenda Martinez, Connie Matherne and Cathy Durio; and 10 
grandchildren, Megan and Joey Plaisance Jr., Lauren and Brett Dominque, Reba, 
Rebecca and Hilary Yates, Tyler Dufrene and Erin and Myka Cheramie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bess Dufrene Toups; one 
brother, Alvin Toups; and two sisters, Lois Walker and Wanda Toups.

She was employed by Wal-Mart for 13 years and was a member of St. Anthony Ladies 
Altar Society.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
