Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his companion, Raenell Badeaux of Gheens; his mother, Joyce Arabie Darsey; one son, Hoythe Savoie of LaComb, Miss.; two daughters, Terri LeBoeuf of Houma and Chanda Rivere of Marrero; two brothers, Kevin Darsey of Lafourche and Gary Darsey of Lockport; five sisters, Kay Rogers and Cathy Boudreaux of Houma, Lynne Cliburn and Lisa Rivere of Mt. Olive, Miss., and Kitti Ledet of Lockport; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Sampey Darsey; his father, Elphey James Darsey; and his grandparents, Gerdie and Alton Arabie and Marie and Elphey Darsey. He was a retired boat captain and a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.
