Velma Chiasson

Velma T. Chiasson, 87, a native of Lockport and resident of Cut Off, died at 
7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.

She is survived by two sons, Carroll J. Chiasson and Richard A. Chiasson; one 
daughter, Diana C. Hukins; one brother, Morgan Adam Theriot; six grandchildren; 
and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Chiasson; her parents, Morgan 
William Theriot and Lylia Barrios Theriot; one brother, Albert Theriot; and one 
sister, Ada T. Chiasson.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
